Effective Jan. 1, 2024, all entities organized and operating in the United States will be required to register their “beneficial owners” with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) under the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA). In this webinar co-hosted by the Alliance and Parsons Behle & Latimer, attorneys Ross Keogh and Tyler MacKay discuss the CTA and its implications for Montana business owners such as what constitutes a “beneficial owner,” penalties for non-compliance, and which businesses are required to register.
