SoFi welcomed Alliance members and guests into their newest Helena building, which houses 150 of the company's 360 engineers. Connect: State and national educational leaders discuss K-12 computer science education with Montana execs

Promote: Axiom IT Solutions and iResponse give lightning talks about their growing companies

Marc Dousset, CEO of AXIOM IT Solutions in Missoula, said he and his partners started the custom software development company 17 years ago as a way to stay in Montana. AXIOM has developed the software to purchase Montana hunting and fishing licenses, as well as the software that Early Stage Montana winners Superior Traffic Services uses in their traffic management system.

Dousset said AXIOM's versatile permitting system may soon be used in more industries. Any organization that receives and vets online applications within specific periods of time and specific compliance reviews may be able to utilize AXIOM's software. 

Joel Rosette, Legal Counsel for iResponse, LLC in Box Elder, and Shastelle Swan, Accounting, describe iResponse's purpose in creation: to provide an accurate, effective, and timely means of Section 106 Consultation. Rosette said iResponse's software and consulting helps companies, governmental agencies, and industries across the US and Canada navigate complex mitigation and avoid adverse effects on tribal and ancestral lands.

Ken Fichtler, Chief Business Development Officer for the Montana Governor's Office of Economic Development, called for input from those gathered around the table on draft regulations for minimum computer science standards.
