Speridian Technologies, a leading provider of IT Solutions and Consulting Services, has announced its acquisition of Helix Business Solutions. An industry leader in technology and customer experience solutions and consulting, Helix’s clients include many of the world’s largest brands.
The combined organization, known as Helix, A Speridian Company, will provide customers enhanced capability in customer experience strategy, global service delivery and leading-edge CRM solutions.
“We are thrilled to have a very renowned name in the technology and customer experience space join forces with Speridian,” said Ali Hasan, Speridian CEO, in a statement. “Speridian has similar roots as Helix. We started our business in New Mexico and have flourished into a global company because of the passion and talent we found there.”
Speridian has around 1,300 employees across eight offices in North America and 19 offices worldwide in seven countries. Company leaders say Speridian plans to add jobs in Montana and invest in the technology ecosystem.
“We see tremendous opportunity to establish a delivery center in Montana to service projects across North America, bringing more jobs to the state,” Hasan said. “Furthermore, Speridian’s extensive experience in public sector modernization initiatives and solutions will also be very useful for Montana government agencies. Speridian is committed to investing in local communities whenever we expand into a new region and we look forward to working with Montana institutions to sponsor capacity building programs. In an already growing economy, we know that our teams’ experience working with world-renowned organizations can rapidly accelerate momentum, boosting Montana businesses.”
Kevin Sherwood, Helix CEO and Montana resident, will continue to lead Helix under Speridian as its own business unit.
“This combination of two passionate, customer-centric companies will ensure future growth for Helix, our customers and our people,” said Sherwood. “Our customers thrive when paired with our talented people and we’re multiplying that through this acquisition.”
Founded in Memphis, Tennessee in 2008, Helix first began its Montana story in 2013. Travis Cottom, a fourth-generation Dillon native and veteran of Bozeman’s RightNow Technologies (acquired by Oracle), brought his Montana work ethic and international technology consulting experience to Helix. Cottom then inspired a business model centered around technology experts who live and work in Montana, opening Helix’s Dillon office in 2014. From rural America, Helix assists national and local organizations in delivering world-class customer experiences.
"There can be big business in small town America and Speridian has an aligned vision and proven strategy to grow bigger, faster," said Cottom, Helix Vice President. "It's exciting to be part of the Speridian team. We will be able to provide a wider array of solutions to our customers with enhanced value, additional opportunities for our employees and a bigger presence in our local communities. We will help improve and grow the local economy in both the public and private sectors. We live in Big Sky Country and with this acquisition, the sky is the limit for Helix customers and our people."
