MHTBA Annual Member Meeting & Missoula Reception

What: Annual meeting, roundtable, and member reception for Montana High Tech Business Alliance members and their guests, sponsored by Blackfoot Communications

When: 2:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 26th

Where: Missoula College (Room 339), 1205 E Broadway St, Missoula, MT 59802

Virtual - The MHTBA local chapters workshop, annual meeting, and panel will also be open to virtual attendees in Zoom. The link will be emailed to those who register to attend virtually.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE EVENT:

MHTBA Local Chapters Workshop | 2:30 - 3:15 p.m.

Are you interested in being a sponsor, host, organizer, or participant in a local chapter for tech professionals in your area? Join us for a workshop with Flathead Local Chapter organizers David Mayer and Rachel Thompson to learn more about how to support a robust local chapter program, 2:30-3:15 pm at Missoula College room 339 (3rd floor) or via Zoom.

Annual Meeting and Roundtable - Partnerships in Higher Education with UM President Seth Bodnar | 3:30 - 5:00 pm

Leaders at the University of Montana have developed innovative programs to help students launch successful tech careers, including:

  • Aaron Thomas – building inclusive pipelines through Montana American Indians in Math and Science (MT-AIMS)

  • Paul Gladen – Accelerate Montana projects focused on upskilling for/with employers

  • Michael Cassens – Game Design and Interactive Media degree and his leadership of the eSports team

  • Michael Musick – Sound Design and Media Technology degree

  • Suzanne Tilleman – College of Business buildout of Cybersecurity degree

Join us as we celebrate these successes and discuss with Seth Bodnar, President of the University of Montana, ways tech businesses and higher education leaders can partner to prepare Montanans for the jobs of the future.

The number of guests per organization is based on MHTBA membership level:

  • $5,000 Platinum (3 guests)     

  • $2,500 Gold (3 guests)     

  • $1,000 Silver (2 guests)     

  • $500 Bronze (2 guests)     

  • $250 Industry Professional or $100 Startup (1 guest)    

  • $100 Remote Professional or $50 Emerging Professional (1 guest)

Reception | 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.

After the annual meeting and panel discussion, join the Alliance for an evening of networking and conversation hosted by Blackfoot Communications. Beer, wine, and appetizers will be served.

  • $1,000 Silver (6 guests) 

  • $500 Bronze (4 guests)
