WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE EVENT:

Please join us for a networking event celebrating the successful conclusion of the First Cohort of the AccelerateMT Tech Essentials: Salesforce Administrator Rapid Training program.

The event will recognize the 25 trainees who successfully completed this 12-week training course and have gained the essential skills to pass the Salesforce Certified Administrator exam and prepare for entry level administrator positions. We will hear from trainees and program leadership about their experience, key takeaways, and what’s next for the Tech Essentials program. Beer, wine, and light appetizers will be provided. This is a tremendous opportunity for employers to connect with newly skilled tech talent and for potential trainees to learn about training opportunities to enter the tech workforce.

About the AccelerateMT Tech Essentials: Salesforce Administrator Rapid Training program

This course was built to model the highly successful Aim Higher training program framework designed by Missoula's own Cognizant ATG in partnership with the University of Montana. Using this framework, the Tech Essentials training was developed to be both asynchronous and accessible to any Montanan looking to break into the tech sector, regardless of previous work experience.

AccelerateMT is partnering with employers to build accessible, skills-based training programs that better meet the needs of the workforce. The Tech Essentials training is one of many in the growing catalog of workforce development training opportunities supported by AccelerateMT. These programs aim to upskill the workforce of Montana and support Montanans as they transition into higher paying opportunities in an evolving job market. The Tech Essentials curriculum equips trainees with the skills to work for both local Montana companies as well as remotely for companies across the United States, ultimately bettering outcomes for all Montanans. We look forward to celebrating these folks' hard work and welcoming them into the high tech community.
