WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE EVENT:
MMEC’s Manufacturing Exceptional Leadership and Management Skills professional development program is designed to prepare leaders and managers to spearhead transformative impact for Montana’s manufacturers and the communities in which they operate. Participants will learn and apply the most effective leadership and management strategies, tools, and techniques to address Montana’s manufacturing challenges of today and tomorrow.
The program consists of eight, half-day sessions and is taught by MMEC Business Advisor Steve Dybdal. Participants meet once per week to promote long-term professional development, peer collaboration, and relationship building.
The Level 1 program offers a foundation of key leadership and management skills related to effective leadership styles, talent development, workforce engagement, communication, conflict resolution, supervisory behaviors, and performance management. Each hands-on experiential session will be integrated with a deep exploration of current manufacturing challenges and interactive discussion on how to address them.
