Who should attend?
Taught by an interdisciplinary team of UM faculty with deep experience in higher education, private industry and nonprofits, the DEI workshop is designed to be relevant at all levels — emerging leaders, managers, or senior executives. Case studies and examples will highlight issues specific to Montana and to the high-tech industry, but enrollment is open to anyone. (See facilitator bios below.)
Location
Conducted via Zoom, the workshop is broken into multiple sessions and will connect participants with each other, as a cohort and in small groups, through virtual chat rooms. Because the training is designed to facilitate discovery through group interaction, we ask participants to commit to attending the full live workshop experience. This training will NOT be recorded.
Link and password to the virtual classroom will be sent to all registered attendees, along with course materials.
Register now – space is limited to 50 participants.
Cost
Thanks to the generous sponsorship of ATG, a Cognizant Company, all proceeds from workshop registration fees will be donated to nonprofits advancing diversity and equity in Montana’s tech sector and our communities —MT Native Americans in Math and Science (MT-AIMS), Montana Racial Equity Project, and Soft Landings.
