Flathead Lake Brewing Co. – 424 North Higgins Ave – (406) 542-3847 – Open 3:00pm-10:00pm. In 2006 Flathead Lake Brewing Co. became the youngest brewery ever to win not just one, but two, World Beer Cup awards. Stop in and grab some Flathead brews while you’re downtown. Map

Great Burn Brewing – 2230 McDonald Ave – (406) 317-1557 – Open 12:00pm-9:00pm. Specializing in hand-crafted ales brewed on small batch system, Great Burn is the newest brewery to Missoula. Their ales are flavorful, well-balanced and considered a west coast style. Stop in their relaxing taproom and enjoy a craft beer. Map

Imagine Nation Brewing – 1151 West Broadway Street – (406) 926-1251 – Open 2:00pm-8:00pm. With a great selection of brews, a wonderful atmosphere and a cheerful staff, Imagine Nation is one of Missoula’s newest breweries. Stop in and try some of their great brews. Map

KettleHouse Brewing Co. – 313 North 1st Street West – (406) 728-1660 – Open 12:00pm-9:00pm. With KettleHouse’s Cold Smoke Scotch Ale, Double Haul IPA, Eddy Out Pale Ale, Lake Missoula Amber and many more brew to choose from, the KettleHouse has a great selection of ales and IPAs. Missoula Brewing Co. Highlander Beer – 200 International Drive – (406) 549-8193 – Open 12:00pm-8:00pm. Featuring a full line of traditional beer styles, as well as some cutting-edge, knock-out, crazy hopped and barrel aged recipes of this modern age of craft brewing, using Montana malt and water. Stop in and enjoy a glass of Highlander, along with slice of artisan pizza and a salad. Map

The Dram Shop – 229 East Front Street – (406) 540-4303- Open 12:00pm-9:00pm. The Dram Shop is proud to be Missoula’s stand alone growler fill station. If you’re a fan of craft beer, then there’s no better place in town to grab a pint or fill up a growler. Map

The Montana Distillery – 631 Woody Street – (406) 541-1889 – Open 12:00pm-8:00pm. The Montana Distillery has the second oldest vodka and the third oldest distillery in Montana since the times of prohibition, originating as Flathead Distillers. If you’re a fan of speciality vodkas, stop by the tasting room and order some samples or a premium drink. Map

Five on Black – 325 North Higgins Ave – (406) 926-1860 – Open 11:00am-9:00pm. This local, fast-casual eatery brings Brazil to Montana. With delicious combinations and great service, Five on Black is a great place to grab some lunch or dinner in the heart of downtown. Map – L/D

With a selection of fresh ingredients, the Top Hat offers vegetarian, meat and seafood small plates, as well as gourmet burgers made with locally sourced beef.
